We develop and design accessories for homes and gardens. Our innovations that we want to promote on Silicon Halli are accessories and protection for trampoline mattresses. According to the Swedish MSB, every other family home in Sweden, owns a trampoline. In addition, the robotic lawnmowers account for 70% of the entire market for the sale of mowers. Today there is no solution to how these two can interact and that leads us to our first innovation. We have developed barriers for the trampolines that prevent the robotic lawnmower from climbing up the footstools of the trampoline. This is to prevent expensive costs of repairing the robotic lawnmower and that barefoot feet are damaged due to broken knifes from the robotic lawnmower. Our second innovation is based on the lack of quality and neat design on the accessories of the trampoline and, above all, the edge protection over the springs. What we discovered is that today’s spring protection only lasts a season since the fabric gets destroyed. This causes water to accumulate in the protection and the fabric begins to burst. It also get’s dirty and it’s hard to get it clean easily. We are developing a smart new spring protection cover to solve this problem. Our new spring protection cover allows customers to easily renew and clean the fabric on the cover without having to throw the old and buy a brand new. In addition, our covers comes in several colors and patterns, creating a playful atmosphere – and for the parents a designed exterior that does not disturb the vision of a comfortable and good looking garden. We take the environment very seriously and we are therefore seeking to produce the products in sustainable and environmentally clean materials. We therefore want, as far as it’s possible, to produce our products in either recycled materials or materials that can be recycled. We also want to adapt to a circular economy as early as possible and we have plans to introduce a kind of mortgage system to allow customers to send the used items back to us.
Through our participation at the festival, we want to test our idea and get valuable input from visitors regarding design and usability. We also want to be able to make price assessments and find out what potential customers think of our concept regarding to the environment. We also want to display our products by having one or two trampolines on site. It will attract attention and create activities for the visitors. We’re also planning to have a contest to engage visitors and draw attention to our products and the prize is a trampoline and off course – one of our spring covers and a set of barriers.

Varberg – SWEDEN | The Hallifornia Culture Festival is a 3-day summer festival arranged in July in the town of Varberg on the west coast of Sweden. The festival arena is centered around old picturesque fortress next the sea. The festival is an open event without entrance fee, and attracts 40.000 visitors durning its three days.
