Into the Woods Sweden is arranged in the middle of the beautiful forest in Hylte Sweden. The festival is based on a co–create vision where everyone is welcomed to participate in creating the content together. The result is an inspiring week full of organic food, creative projects, outdoor adventures, yoga, forest bathing, music, party, craftsmanship and community.
The core values of Into the Woods Sweden are co-creation and regeneration. Co-creation brings a sense of meaning and makes people come together in uniting for a bigger purpose, like taking care of this planet in a more sustainable way. The festival supports local, regenerative, organic producers and the food is a result of chefs jamming with the best ingredients you can find in the area, cooked right there in the woods.
THE WOOD WIDE WEB

The Wood Wide Web is organized as a part of Into the Woods, Sweden. As a participating festival, Into The Woods is like a living laboratory, a temporary miniature society. Just like life in general there are challenges in areas such as energy, waste and food, as people behave in a certain sense the same as in the real world: they move, eat and sleep. The difference from the real world is that the festival is confined to a limited place and time. That makes Into The Woods a perfect test environment to collaborate on prototypes and experimental techniques. When an innovation works in the festival, it can also work in the real world.
The Wood Wide Web is looking for Avatars (benevolent collaborators and innovators) who are ready to come together with likeminded beings, and in a creative and experimental way adress our common challenges and to integrate the solutions in the actual infrastructure of the festival. As the focus is sustainability, this would apply to all areas of the festival. However we have identified three main areas:
- Sanitary solutions
- Energy supply and consumption
- Communication

INNOVATION BROKER
An innovation broker is a person who guides you within the InnoQuarter process. The innovation broker from your country will contact you from the moment you register your innovation. An intake interview will be used to determine which festival is suitable for your innovation. If a community decision is made to test in another country, another innovation broker will take over the contact. Every country has its own innovation broker who knows the festival like no other.
